There are lots of Dogos out there that need a loving home, so why not rescuing one?

Dogos end up in shelters for lots of different reasons. Some are left there because their owners have gotten divorced, had to move or in some cases passed away. Other Dogos are left behind simply because their owners don’t have the time to care for their four-legged friend anymore. However, there are a lot of really heartbreaking stories out there too. Stories that make you wonder how people can be so cruel.

If you are serious about adopting a Dogo, take a look at the organizations below. Maybe you’ll find your new family member there. And who knows, you might even be saving the pooch’s life. How amazing is that?

Rescue Organizations
:

DAERRS
DAERRS means Dogo Argentino Education Rescue & Referral Service. DAERRS was created to foster, vet, and place Dogos that have been abandoned or neglected in furever loving homes. They house, feed, rehabilitate, socialize, seek medical attention for, and spay/neuter the dogs rescued.

DACA

The Dogo Argentino Club of America was founded in 1985 and is a good place to start if you are looking to adopt a Dogo.

Big Love Molloser Rescue
We dedicate our time and energy to rehabilitating the many large breed
dogs, such as the Dogo Argentino, Cane Corso, and the Presa Canario. We
feel that it is important to make these large dominant dogs, trained
and ready for a new home that they can enjoy the rest of their life.
While with us, they get complete obedience training, socialization, and
love. Those three things create a great disposition when they meet
their future families.
